ABOUT US: OUR HISTORY

The Story of
Edgemon Crockett

Edgemon Crockett is a family-owned business created by Tom Edgemon and his son, George Edgemon, in 2010. Edgemon Crockett sells a variety of genuine leather and other exotic goods consisting of belts, bags, wallets, and other accessories.

From passion to enterprise
in a little wooden cabin

In the years leading up to the creation of Edgemon Crockett, Tom started winding down his long career sod and dairy farming. During this time, George attended university and lived with friends in Kennesaw, Georgia. George sold paintings and other traditional art to help fund his Geology studies at Georgia State University.

Upon his retirement and in search of a new passion, Tom discovered a newfound passion in the art of bespoke leather work. As his skills evolved, his talent gained the attention of many friends and family. Tom would soon master the process of crafting several leather products; which he would eventually hand down to George.

ABOUT US

Our Vision

What started as a hobby slowly turned into an adoration for the art of leathercraft. That fondness shared by both Tom and George – only grew over time. Each passing day resulted in a new lesson, a new project, or a new experiment.  As time rattled on, the Edgemon’s vision of the future became intertwined with some of history’s most important lessons. Lessons that help provide a brighter future are too often exploited for profit – and we wanted to change that.

Together, the father-son duo would unite their talents and efforts to deliver some of the highest-quality leather goods to our customers at an affordable price.

What started as a passion project in a little wooden cabin, tucked away deep in the scenic foothill mountains of North Georgia; evolved into a successful, grassroots, family-operated enterprise.

ABOUT US

Our Standards

We build our products atop simple principles and values guided by one relatively simple standard:  Always Genuine.

  • Is the quality of the finished product truly genuine?  Is it free from any intent to deceive the customer?
  • Would it stand the durability test of a weekend in the Smokeys with the boys?
  • Would it be acceptable and fashionable to wear this product in the halls of Congress?

Within our standards, you find the true ideals behind our company.  We believe that you should never have to decide between quality and authenticity when purchasing one of our products.  Our goal is to provide the highest quality product to give you both function and fashion; not one or the other.  An Edgemon Crockett belt, for instance, is made to wear with both your muddy work boots and your freshly shined wing-tips.

Always genuine. Never faux.

The Edgemon Crockett Standard

Quality

In order to guarantee the best, we only buy the best. We hand select each and every hide from the tannery in order to assure you get the best around.

Longevity

From our genuine American Alligator Belts double-backed with veg-tanned leather - to our Tote Bags made with high-grain, soft-hand buffalo hide - our products will last... for like... a really long time.

Versatility

Edgemon Crockett products are made to be versatile. If a Frontiersman couldn't use it out in the woods and in the halls of Congress - it doesn't make the cut.

Authenticity

Every Edgemon Crockett product is made from absolutely genuine materials. All hardware is 100% USA-Made. We will never use "faux" material or deceptive practices to make a quick buck.
